EAST LIVERPOOL - Linda J. Wells, 61, of North Street, East Liverpool, died early Friday morning, Oct. 2, 2009 at her residence after taking ill suddenly.
Linda was born in Cleveland, Ohio on Nov. 7, 1947, the daughter of the late Bruce and Constance Bailey Kristy.
An area resident for most of her life, Linda had worked as a custodian for East Liverpool City Schools, and had
currently been working at East Liverpool High School from which she graduated in 1965.
Survivors include a son, Steve Wells and his wife, Jessica, of East Liverpool as well as three brothers, Daniel Kristy and his wife, Lynn of Hamilton, Ohio, William Kristy of Massachusetts and Robert "Bert" Kristy of Florida.
There are two grandchildren, Kent Wells and Tatyana Hurst. Linda will also be missed by her dog, Shorty.
Services will be held at the Dawson Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, with Evangelist Will Montgomery of the St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m.
